Re: Information about stream and wetland crossings

Re; Charlie Blinn's request on temporary stream crossings. Watershed
restoration projects here in the Pacific Northwest have used recycled
railroad flat-cars for stream crossings (usually protecting fish habitat
from livestock through fencing and bridging sensitive streams). Depending
on how temportary, and proximity of rail car repair facilities, might be a
solution. The cost of moving the cars (large flatbed trailer) is a factor.
USFish & Wildlife and EPA are sources for more info.
