In the December, 1995, issue of the ITTO Tropical Forest Update, a
fungus identified as 'Haplographium calophylli (syn: Verticillium
calophylli) as the pathogen may have been responsible for serious attacks
on Seychelles' 'Takamaka' (Calophylum inophyllum) trees.

They are appealing to all interested parties internationally with
experience of this or similar diseases to assist in whatever manner they
can.
