We have a large number of "permanent" plots in Hawaii, and would be
pleased to provide information on them for your TROPIS database.

The Hawaii trials are listed as "Statewide Energy Trials" (SET), and were
started in the 60's. They are hardly "permanent", as many are focussed on
short-rotation management and disposed of in a few years. However, all
involve perennial nitrogen-fixing trees of long duration, notably in
genera Leucaena and Acacia.
