Dear all

I recently posted a mail advertising a post for Lecturer in Tropical
Forestry at the University of Aberdeen, Scotland.
It has come to my attention that the pound sterling sign that I typed in
appears as a number on some mail readers. Unfortunately, we do not get paid
hundreds of thousands of pounds.

The salary range should have read: 15,154 - 26,430 pounds sterling

Apologies for any unnecessary excitement caused.
