     Sixth Biennial Forest Service Remote Sensing Applications Conference

                   Denver, Colorado  April 29 - May 3, 1996

The Sixth Biennial Forest Service Remote Sensing Applications Conference is
being held in Denver, Colorado during April 29 - May 3, 1996.  The conference
will feature practical applications of remote sensing, GPS, image processing,
GIS and related technologies for ecosystem management.

The conference is being sponsored by the USDA Forest Service.  Private industry
and other agencies, including the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service, National Park
Service, Bureau of Land Management, and U.S. Geological Survey, will make
presentations about the work they are doing in the area of remote sensing and
natural resource management.

The conference will be held at the Holiday Inn-Denver Southeast, 3200 S. Parker
Road, Aurora, Colorado, 80014.  Plenary sessions will take place in the Holiday
Inn Main Function Hall.  Poster displays and vendor exhibits will be located in
adjacent meeting rooms.

The cost of attending the conference will be S75.00.  This registration fee is
being collected to cover the cost of publishing a conference proceedings for
each participant, and also pay for the use of conference facilities.  The
conference proceedings will be published in cooperation with the American
Society of Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing (ASPRS).

Registration materials and the conference agenda will be distributed February
13th.
