ERIM is sponsoring ECO-INFORMA 96 - Global Networks for Environmental
Information. This will be held 4-7 November 1996 at the Disney Yacht
and Beach Club Convention Center, Lake Buena Vista, Florida, USA.
(Sounds good - especially with 12 inches of snow predicted for
tonight in addition to the 30 inches we received earlier this week in
Manassas, Virginia).
A call for papers is open dealing with Environmental Information
Management and Decision Support Systems; Resource Management and
sustainable development; Pollution Monitoring and Control;
Legislation, regulation, and compliance; and new, emerging and future
environmental applicaitons, issues, and developments.
ECO-INFORMA will focus on worldwide communications for environomental
applications and will address the critical need to share information
that promotes responsible decision making in environmental problem
solving. The call is open until 1 April. For more info. contact:
