I have developed one for diagnosis of deficiencies in stands of radiata
pine from visual symptoms, foliage analyses, and site characteristics.
It is implemented in a Windows-based shell that uses backward chaining
and a primitive form of forward chaining. The interface includes images
which help with the diagnosis.
