          In response to the "good" silviculture idea, let's not
          forget that clearcutting, the way it is practiced most often
          in the PNW, does NOT mimic natural fire (at least not very
          well).  And, reforestation, the way it is practiced, does
          NOT mimic natural succession in many cases.
