In making the "mindless machine" remark about evolution, I seem to have
touched a raw nerve with some people.  I've debated evolution vs
creation before and at great length elsewhere, and I know that such a
debate in this forum would surely ruin it.  I therefore suggest we agree
to disagree about evolution, and debate other forestry-related issues here.
