I am interested in techniques and/or algorithms for automatic or computer
delineation or identification of potential harvest or treatment units or
settings.  An extensive literature search turned up the PLANS program by Robert
McGaughey, PNW Research Station, Seattle.  This, however, does not delineate
potential harvest settings or units.

Before I set of on my own, I would like to learn of publications I may have
missed and unpublished, perhaps in progress, work of others on this topic.
