Stumpage prices are like used car prices... depends. They depend on access, species and quality mix, size.... a Gazillion things. The best source for "real" stumpage prices are other consulting foresters who sell timber. Timbermart South, as suggested, is a good "average" source. Also try The "Hardwood Market Report" Email address is hmr@hmr.com They publish weekly reports of hardwood prices (milled, air dried, boxcarloads). This is not stumpage but, it is an excellent measure of the pulse of the market.
