Temporary Faculty Position in Mensuration

Location:  Department of Forestry and Natural Resources Purdue University West
Lafayette, Indiana  47907

Description:   Temporary assistant professor, academic-year basis for 18
months,100 percent teaching.

Duties:  Teach two undergraduate courses, namely, FNR 353, Natural Resource
Assessment; and FNR 355, Quantitative Methods for Resource Management; one
graduate course, specifically, FNR 553, Forest Inventory; and "team teach" FNR
658, Advanced Geographic Information Systems Concepts. Develop GIS data bases
for study areas to support new curriculum.

Qualifications: Applicants must have a Ph.D. in forest science and the
capability and willingness to teach courses or parts of courses in forest
mensuration, forest resource modeling, and forest sampling.

Salary:  Commensurate with qualifications and experience.
