As part of the on-going Global Terrestrial Observation System development,
a meta-database of long-term ecosystem monitoring sites has been made
available at the following location:

http://www.wsl.ch/wsidb/gtos/gtos.html

The database has been designed to be accessed through Netscape v1.1

Data include variables assessed at each site and contact addresses. Data
are still being entered, but we know that a lot of sites are missing. Any
help in pin-pointing these omissions would be much welcomed.
