Hi. My name is Chris and I work with Arcinfo on a Silicon Graphics Indy
(running Irix 5.3, Unix), also we've got Arcinfo & Idrisi on PCs.

I'm in the Forestry Department at the Australian National University where
I work on a variety of topics related to environmental resource management
plus some on conservation. E.g. forest types, animal distribution, erosion,
salinity. Our areas of study are presently in Australia and include the full
range of land use types (including reserves). I have a particular interest in
national parks and conservation areas for the protection of various
animal species, plus mapping vegetation via remote sensing, also in relation
to forest clearing.
