Several years ago when I was a PhD student at University of Washington, the
grounds keepers moved two Giant Sequoia.  I was on campus last year (at 6 years sdince moving the trees)
and they were still alive.  You may try to get info from the University or
the College of Forest Resources on who moved etc.
