Just a little news to my colleagues in international forestry... I am now doing some work for a company that has created "The Eden Device", a remarkable technological breakthrough. It is a small device that can draw water from the atmosphere among other things...and is being aimed at producing water and ecological conditions that will allow trees to be planted (and grow) in the desert...or other very dry locations. It is a very remarkable device and I will be traveling to Geneva with several of them at the end of August. This device has a lot of potential applications. It is currently functional and will be made available after trials are completed in several African countries... I can't provide detailed information at this time, but wanted to get this preliminary information circulating. Richard Fox President Global Resource Consultants rcfox@igc.apc.org
