Dear Colleagues;  Those of you who will participate in the IUFRO World
Congress in Tampere, Finland, August 6-12, may be interested in this
notice.

We will be demonstrating the new manuals, "Quantitative Genetics on a
Spreadsheet" (159 pp., 1140 kb on disk), "Experimental Design on a
Spreadsheet" (175 pp., 1250 kb on disk), and "Biometry on a Spreadsheet"
(135 pp., 1150 kb on disk). All are written in QPRO5.0, but translatable
to most spreadsheet programs; disks are 3.5".

Each consists of a series of problems illustrative of the science, with
extensive graphics, designed both for the student and the accomplished
scientist as models for research application. Many forestry examples are
included.

Since international costs of mailing and currency conversion double
the price ($22) of these manuals, we would be willing to bring some along
from Hawaii to accompany the demonstration, which will be in Section
P2.02.04 on Thursday, Aug. 10, making them available at the Hawaii price.
