RESEARCH STUDENTSHIP A postgraduate studentship is available at the University of Edinburgh, UK, researching genetic variation in West African Irvingia species (Bush mango). Some experience of molecular techniques (RAPDs / isozymes / RFLPs) would be useful but is not essential, as training will be provided. The candidate should be interested in conservation and use of tropical forest genetic resources, and be prepared to undertake fieldwork in W Africa. Candidates must be of EC origin for this studentship.
