Meijerink Published as IKC Working Document no. 71, jointly by: National Reference Centre for Nature Management (IKC-N) and the BOS Foundation (both in the Netherlands) The report is meant to stimulate the discussion on how to obtain monetary remuneration for non-monetarised values and functions of tropical forests, in other words, function endowment. It describes and analyses the various efforts currently being made towards this goal. The development of such systems is considered to be vital for the survival of tropical forests in the long run.
