Dear Colleagues:

      Hope you will forgive me if this request is somewhat "off mark" of the
general scope of the mailing list, but I've tried many other resources to get
the information that I need, all to no avail!

      As an ardent admirer of the "Forest Management" mailing list, I would
like to pick your brains as regards addresses for, "Timber" related
organizations in the United States.

      These organizations may be builder related, timber "guilds", or other
trade organizations which specialize in timber building, restoration, or
timber product use. My reasons are thus: I know a carpentry apprenticeship
graduate who wishes to further his career in an organization which
specializes in large timber work, and I've had no luck in finding the correct
addresses for the Timber Guilds, or other trade organizations to which he
could write and request information.

     Thanks in advance for any information or suggestions that you can offer!
