Scott - Be sure to look at the growing body of AVHRR initial concern over the 1 km resolution often falls away with (1) low cost,
(2) biweekly data, (3) registration of data, 5+ years available on CD if I
recall. Look for example at Community type differentiation... in REMOTE
SENS. ENVIRON. 46:311-318 (1993).
