ANALYSIS: Permanent plots in tropical forests

Some permanent plots in north Queensland (Australia) have been maintained
and regularly remeasured (i.e. about every 5 years) over a 40-year period. I
wonder if that is some sort record for the tropical moist forest. I would
like to hear of any plots which are still accessible and maintained, that
have been measured over a longer period. But only for the humid tropics
please, I know of many plots in temparate forests with a longer history.
