At our institute we are teaching Forest Management. For the training of
the students in our courses we are looking for a simple instrument to
measure the basal area of forest stands that can also be applied on
slopes. I have heard about glass-prisms and I have an address of an Inc.
in the USA where they are produced (cruise-master prisms, Sublimity,
Oregon). I have written to that Inc. but I haven`t got any answer yet.
Does anybody of the list members know where we can get these prisms (an
address, fax - number or e-mail would be ideal) ?
