There is a new, mainly german orientated, mailing-list for all forestry related
topics, established at the Bavarian State Institute of Forestry, Germany.

Of course, postings in english are welcome, but the purpose of this list is,
to establish a forum for rapid exchange of information, for the german speaking
part of the world.
