KEY DUTIES: Undertake research in wood processing, timber mechanics and
timber seasoning. Provide services and maintain contact with the Queensland
timber industry on process evaluation, mechanical properties testing, and
kiln testing and evaluation.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Degree in engineering or science preferably with
skills in wood technology and timber production.
