A call for papers is open for the World Heritage Tropical Forest 
Conference which will be held 2-6 Sept. 1996, Cairns, Far North 
Queensland, Australia.  The general theme is science for better 
management and understanding. Conference topics include: 
Understanding world heritage tropical forests and their conservation 
needs; managing the use of world heritage tropical forests; and 
indigenous perspectives on understanding and managing world heritage 
tropical forests.  Deadline for submitting abstracts for papers and
