Continuing request: Information Grants & Fellowships in NRM & Forestry

Continuing request:

REQUEST FOR INFORMATION ABOUT GRANTS & FELLOWSHIPS FOR STUDENTS &
PROFESSIONALS IN NATURAL RESOURCES MANAGEMENT & INTERNATIONAL FORESTRY FOR A
FREE* GUIDE BOOK.

Hello;

I am in the process of collecting GRANT & FELLOWSHIP information while
rewriting, and updating the following internationally distributed, free
publication of the US Forest Service (USDA) and US-AID:

Drilling, M. E., Durst, P. B., and M. Swisher. 1993. A Guide to Grants and
Fellowships in International Forestry and Natural Resources. 2nd. Edition.
USDA (USFS-IF & OICD) and USAID. 67 p.

This guide has been enormously popular, both nationally and internationally,
and successful in providing grant and fellowship information to students
seeking money for graduate studies and professionals seeking funding for
research in Natural Resources Management and Forestry.

This guide, last published in October, 1993, now is somewhat dated and
limited in scope. In order to update the publication and enhance its value,
I am seeking help in obtaining information about grants and fellowships for
graduate students and professionals working in NRM & Forestry.

It is understood that both fields are either multi-disciplinary or
inter-disciplinary and focused or broad in application. Hence, employment
opportunities would range from work for wood fiber chemists, timber
certification specialists, and tropical forest conservation ecologists, to
that for consultants aiding a developed nation in management of potable
water sources.

If you have current information about grant and fellowship opportunities,
however limited, or know of others who might have such information, I would
be very grateful for e-mail ASCII files, or diskettes of databases. Receipt
of even the most obvious grants and fellowships is beneficial because it
will aid in updating addresses, contacts, tel/fax numbers etc. However, the
more information in the database, the better.

Information required would include the following:

Grant or Fellowship Title
Full Address of foundation/society/group/organization, etc.
Scholarship/fund Officer/administrator
Description, and Purpose of program
Eligibility requirements
Number, duration, and amount of awards
Application deadlines & requirements
Phone, FAX, E-mail for contacts
WWW Home Pages
A summary of the goals/ideals of the organization
Disciplines in which funds are awarded

NOTE (copyright, credit, etc.):

Credit will be provide to individuals/organizations, etc. donating contact
databases. All information, when published, will be in the 'public domain'
(i.e., not protected by copyright). No database will be used verbatim unless
requested.

Thank you to all who have or will taken time out of their schedules to dig
out contact databases or just send in information about this or that
organization. It is appreciated very much. However, I am still in need of
more information about grants and fellowships and donor institutions in
order to find those missed by searched of Petersen's and other grant &
fellowship database publications.

PLEASE SEND FILES, INQUIRIES TO ME, NOT THE GROUP
Thank you for your help :)
