Continuing request: Employer information: NRM & Forestry

Continuing request:

CONTACT DATABASES FOR ORGANIZATIONS EMPLOYING PROFESSIONALS IN NATURAL
RESOURCES MANAGEMENT & FORESTRY IN THE USA FOR USE IN A FREE* GUIDE TO
EMPLOYMENT.

Hello;

I am in the process of collecting EMPLOYER information in order to rewrite
and update the following widely distributed, free publication of the US
Forest Service (USDA) and US-AID:

Resch, T., and M. G. Porter. 1992.The Job Seekers Guide to Opportunities in
Natural Resource Management for the Developing World. 3rd. Edition. USDA
(USFS-IF & OICD), and USAID. 32 p.

This guide has been enormously popular, both nationally and internationally,
and successful in providing employment source information to recent
graduates and professional seeking new positions in Natural Resources
Management and Forestry.

This guide, last published in July, 1992, now is somewhat dated and limited
in scope. In order to update the publication and enhance its value, I am
seeking help in obtaining information about agencies, organizations,
institutions, NGOs, and companies, etc. in the US (or US companies overseas)
which hire professionals with skills in NRM & Forestry.

It is understood that both fields are either multi-disciplinary or
inter-disciplinary and focused or broad in application. Hence, employment
opportunities would range from work for wood fiber chemists, timber
certification specialists, and tropical forest conservation ecologists, to
that for consultants aiding a developed nation in management of potable
water sources.

If you have any databases, even those listing a few companies, or know of
their existence, I would be very grateful for e-mail ASCII files, diskettes,
and or other contacts who might have databases. The more information in the
database, the better

Information required would include the following:

Organization name
Full Address
Chief Officer
Chief of Personnel
Primary contact for employment
Primary contact for scientific information
Phone, FAX, E-mail for contacts
Nature of business (General, and specific)
Size of company (number of employees - non-professional vs professional)
A summary statement for the company
A summary of the activities of the organization
Disciplines in which people are employed (normally)
Turn-over rate?
Years of operation
Budget
Other voluntary information

NOTE (copyright, credit, etc.):

Credit will be provide to individuals/organizations, etc. donating contact
databases. All information, when published, will be in the 'public domain'
(i.e., not protected by copyright). No database will be used verbatim unless
requested.

Thank you to all who have or will taken time out of their schedules to dig
out contact databases or just send in information about this or that
organization. It is appreciated very much. However, I am still in need of
more contacts in order to find employers missed by Taft Group and other
employment database publications.

PLEASE SEND FILES, INQUIRIES TO ME, NOT THE GROUP
Thank you for your help :)
