Could you please inform the forestry community that a Proceedings for the
Environmental Regulation and Prescribed Fire Conference that took place in
Tampa Florida on March 14-18, 1995 will be available soon (May).  This
conference was attended by over 350 people (we could have had many more
but the facility was not able to handle more than that) from all over the
USA and Canada. 

	The purpose of the conference was to bring the regulatory
community together with the land management community to discuss our
respective roles regarding the use of Prescribed Fire, and what is the
future of this intergral part of the ecosystem.  The atmosphere at the
conference was very cordial and as a result, very productive. 

     We invite anyone that is interested in the proceedings to contact Ms.
