Position Announcement
Director - Missouri Resource Assessment Partnership
The Missouri Resource Assessment Partnership (MoRAP) invites
applications for Director who will be responsible for the overall
coordination and management of the MoRAP and its activities. MoRAP is an
interagency partnership formed to facilitate development of digital data
bases for use in natural resource planning and management in Missouri.
Requirements: Master's degree in natural resources, geography, or closely
related field. Must have at least five years experience in the application,
management, and analysis of spatial data and data base development
including GIS/remote sensing technologies.
Duties: Manages the MoRAP Technical Center, supervises its staff and directs
related projects.
Salary range: $50,000 to $60,000
The incumbent will be employed by the University of Missouri and work at
the MoRAP Technical Center. The MoRAP Technical Center will be located at
the National Biological Service's Midwest Science Center on Columbia, MO.
