ACTION ALERT

Dole has Dared conservationists to Make a Ruckus about H.R. 9.  Let's rise
to the challenge.  

Come to a rally against H.R. 9 at Tufts University in Medford, MA AT 1:30
PM on Saturday, March 18.  Bring your friends, your neighbors, and anyone
else who cares about the environment. 

The nation's environmental safeguards are under the greatest assault in
history, in the form of H.R. 9.

PLEASE JOIN US FOR A RALLY AT TUFTS UNIVERSITY, OUTSIDE COHEN AUDITORIUM ON
SATURDAY, MARCH 18TH AT 1:30 PM.

Vice President Gore has publicly denounced this extreme anti-environmental
agenda.  Senator Dole has said he doesn't think we can make enough ruckus to
stop this assault on the environment. PROVE HIM WRONG.

Secretary of Interior, Bruce Babbitt is speaking at Tufts on March 18.  Let
him know you support his opposition to H.R. 9.  Send him back to Washington
with the message that H.R. 9 must be stopped. ATTEND THE RALLY.

The House has passed H.R. 9 as part of "The Con(tract with America)." 
This bill must be killed in the Senate. 

-  H.R. 9 will kill health, safety and environmental laws
-  H.R. 9 will cost taxpayers billions
-  H.R. 9 will cause even greater gridlock in Washington
-  H.R. 9 will mean more species extinction
-  H.R. 9 will require taxpayers to pay big business not to pollute, fill
   wetlands, destroy forests & wildlife habitat.

TAKE THESE THREE STEPS TO STOP H.R. 9

1) Tell your Senator to Vote against the Senate version of H.R. 9.  Get you
Senator's number by calling the Capitol switchboard @ 202/224-3121.

2) Call Vice President Gore's office (202/224-2424) and thank him fir his
opposition to H.R. 9

3) ATTEND THE RALLY AT TUFTS ON SATURDAY, MARCH 18TH AT 1:30
