The roots of ten year old forest plants shall be inquired for a research work "analysis of regeneration on wind damage areas". I'm looking for literature about
formation of roots by seeded, planted and natural regenerated trees. Also I am
interested in the following questions:

- Which kind of effect does have a paring of roots before planting?
- Does some methods of planting produce root deformations?
- I am looking for an efficient method of working for digging out a lot of ten
  year old plants.
