FIRST CALL FOR POSTERS:
1995 SOCIETY OF AMERICAN FORESTERS ANNUAL CONVENTION

Poster presentations are being solicited for the
1995 Society of American Foresters Annual Convention,
October 28 - November 1, 1995, Portland, ME. The
convention theme is "Sustaining Forests, Sustaining
People". Poster subjects can be on any natural resource
MANAGEMENT or RESEARCH project. Graduate student
posters are encouraged. Abstracts of all accepted
posters will be published in the Proceedings. Posters
will be formally judged by a team of scientists within
working group categories; excellence will be recognized
with a certificate.
Interested parties should submit BY JUNE 15, 1995
a 150 word abstract to: Russell Briggs, Poster Chair,
CFRU, 5755 Nutting Hall, University of Maine, Orono, ME
04469-5755. Include poster title, author(s) name(s)
and affiliation(s). Identify the corresponding author
in the case of multiple authorship. Following review,
the senior author will be notified of acceptance and
detailed instructions will be sent regarding date and
time of poster display. Posters will be assigned a
numbered board (4 ft X 8 ft, velcro ready) at the
convention center.
A major purpose of the SAF convention is the
exchange of technical and scientific information. This
is an excellent opportunity for interaction with other
individuals interested in similar research and
managment projects.
