III Int'l Biodiversity Measuring and Monitoring Course



The Smithsonian Institution's Man and the Biosphere Program (SI/MAB) 
is offering an extensive 5 week training program in inventorying and 
monitoring biodiversity.  This will be held 3 Sept - 6 Oct 1995 at 
the Conservation & Reseach Center in Front Royal, Virginia, USA.  The 
total costs is S3,900 including food and lodging, local 
transportation, books and materials, and use of field and lab. 
equipment.  Topics will include vegetation, invertebrates, fish and 
aquatic invertebrates, amphibians and reptiles, birds, mammals, and
