                       International Workshop

                         LIFE CYCLE ANALYSIS 

           - a challenge for forestry and forest industry

An international workshop on life cycle analysis will be organized
jointly by the Federal Research Centre for Forestry and Forest
Products, Hamburg, Germany, and the EFI. The workshop aims at mapping
the present state-of-the-art and future research priorities regarding
LCA of forest products with forestry included. The workshop is
primarily aimed at researchers but policy-makers are also welcome. 

The maximum number of participants is 40. The venue of the workshop is
the Federal Research Centre for Forestry and Forest Products in
Hamburg, Germany, and the dates 3-5 May 1995.
