Dear Colleague, 

Silva Fennica has now been put on WorldWideWeb. At present,
 the Silva Fennica pages contain lists of contents and abstracts of
 recent issues, instructions to authors, editors and editorial board
 etc. We are planning to add lists of contents and abstracts of 
earlier issues and to incorporate a keyword-based search facility.

Silva Fennica is a peer-reviewed quarterly journal covering all
 aspects of forest research. In addition to original research
 articles, the journal accepts critical review articles, research 
notes, discussion papers and book reviews. Silva Fennica is
 published by the Finnish Society of Forest Science and the
 Finnish Forest Research Institute.
