Just wanted to bring your attention to a story I wrote for the Journal of 
Forestry in the August, 1989 issue.  It chronicles the beginning of the 
Mexican Spotted owl issue in the Southwest.  Hopefully, it will be 
informative...or at least entertaining..... If anybody wants a hard copy 
version of the story, let me know...
