International course ASSESSMENT OF BIODIVERSITY FOR IMPROVED FOREST MANAGEMENT 12-17 June 1995 Koli, Finland THE COURSE AIMS AT... * reviewing the concept of biodiversity and international agreements on the management of biodiversity * studying the state of the art in the methodology for assessing and monitoring biodiversity at habitat and landscape levels. THE COURSE IS INTENTED FOR... researchers and forest managers developing forest management systems. The number of participants is limited to 20-25. LECTURERS... include internationally recognized experts of forest inventory, ecology and biodiversity from Switzerland, Sweden and Finland.
