Hello everyone- I'm a grad student in Tom HInckley's lab at UW, and I wanted to do a forestry/canopy net survey regarding measuring water potential gradients along the bole of a tree. I'm aware of Michael Dixon's in situ thermocouple systems. Does anyone know of others? To those of you who have done this sort of thing, how have these and other sensors performed? If there is sufficient interest, I'll summarize the results of this discussion and make it available. Thanks in advance for you time & input, Kim Brown College of Forest Resources Univ. of Washington, Seattle kjbrown@u.washington.edu
