It is now firmly DS> : DS> We have found the exotic pest and it is us (Caucasians from Europe). Oh please. I had thought that man was indiginous to Earth, along with every other species of plant and animal that has ever been, or ever will be. There WAS a time when continents were joined, glaciers covered them, volcanoes massacred them, etc. Nature has been distributing everything everywhere far before we joined in. We would be pretty arrogant if we decided that the way things are now, they MUST remain for the rest of eternity, unchanging. Even if we chose such a course, the forces of Nature would simply not allow it to happen. --- Ken Polsson - Stand Modelling Analyst - BC Ministry of Forests --- --- kpolsson@galaxy.gov.bc.ca --- "The opinions expressed --- --- CompuSpec BBS (604)479-0418 --- here are not necessarily --- --- RelayNet: ->1797 --- the views of my employer." ---
