Dear Netters,

I am looking for information about the ecological characteristics of the
Neotropical pine species Pinus oocarpa. I would welcome any references or your
own experiences on the ecology and productivity of the species.

Further, there is a taxonomic mesh about P. oocarpa, P. patula ssp. tecunumanii
and P. tecunumanii. My tree material is from the State of Guerrero, Mexico. I
have seen no recent (1985 ->) taxonomic accounts about the pines in Guerrero,
so I would welcome any hints where I could look for them.
