Can anyone provide infomation/references regarding a forest management 
approach known as ProSilva or a 'single stem management' technique known as 
the Plenter system ?  ProSilva was founded in numerous European countries in 
1989.  We are getting an increasing number of queries from private forest 
growers regarding this system and yet the only documentation we can find in 
English (there are a number of German references) consists of a series of 
wide ranging, non-specific principles.  Concrete information and examples 
seem somewhat elusive.
