Dr Schalatter is organising an important symposium on " Manejo Nutritivo De
plantaciones florestales' (Management of Nutrition in Plantation Forestry)

When?  25 - 30 April 1995    Where? Valdivia CHILE

Topics of presentation and discussion would include: Soil charecterisation,
Soil-Tree relationship,
Nurient balances, Plantation management, Amelioration and fertilization.

Current work from several S. American countries including Argentina,Brazil
and Chile will be presented inaddition to invited papers from International
scientists.

Chile is among the countries leading in Plantation Forestry to day and this
symposium offers a special opportunity to see their research and forestry.
