Dear Netters,
I seem to remember a running conversation on
either FOREST or ECOLOG several months ago about the current
and past extent of forest types in the southeastern
U.S. (perhaps released either by the USDA F.S. or
by a private group?). Since moving to Memphis 2 months
ago, I've been trying to track down info on forests
in TN, AR, AL, MS, and GA, and would like to find
this publication, or any others that detail changes
in land use over the last 100-200 years. Any help?
Thanks much,

John Kupfer jakupfer@msuvx1.memphis.edu
