Dear Colleagues
Anyone know what the forest area in Italy was during the
16th-19th centuries? It was around 15 mil ha in 1500, dropped to
5.5 mil ha by the 1920s, then rose continuosly until reaching almost
7 mil ha in the 1990s. Any Italian forest researchers out there?!
Look forward to hearing from you
regards
Jamie Fairbairn
