Dear NETTERS:

We are trying to get information on ecology & control
of the invasive neotropical tree _Miconia calvescens_
(Melastomataceae) in the Hawaiian Islands.

We are looking specifically for literature, comments and
correspondents regarding FRUIT DISPERSAL, SEED DISPERSAL,
AND SEED BANKS OF NEOTROPICAL TREES, especially field assessment
techniques.

Any references, names/addresses, etc. would be very much appreciated.
