September 1994 Final registration form and Preliminary Program Goals of the conference : The main objective is to focus on models designed to serve as a tool for the analysis of forest policy. They are usually used at a regional level for basic (strategic) decisions of forest management. Venue : The symposium will be held in the hotel Midu Jmlovitl, located in the western outskirts of Prague, about 20 km from the city centre on road No.4 direction Dobxm. Since there is no public transport, you will have to use a taxi from Prague. It is important to go to JILOVISTE not to Jilove (similar name but quite different place). There is accommodation in comfortable rooms, conference hall and restaurant in the hotel. The price of single room will be 1 000 Czech crowns (Kc) per night, double room 1 500 Kc, meals a day will costs about 300 Kc. There are tennis courts and a stable with 12 horses for your leisure time. Field trip : An excursion will be organised to the Ore mountains (Krusne hory) on Wednesday 28 September. It takes the whole day (about 300 km). We will see the heavy polluted area and management of damaged forest. The fee is 1 000 Kc.
