Hypertext documents/working groups

I am a member of our forest industry's Hypermedia Co-operative.  We have been 
operating for about 6 months and are still in the developmental stage. 

I would like to know two things: 
- do similar groups exist in other countries, if so, who is the contact 
person? 
- do you know of hypertext documents which have been designed 
specifically for the forestry industry, if so, how can I obtain a copy?
