In response to your request for information re: names/contacts of
person with experience in the Economic Valuation of natural forests
managed for multiple uses, The Forest Values Project of the
Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources, headed by Laurie Gravelines,
has been conducting projects in the following headings:
Industrial Values
Non-Industrial Values
Socio-Economic Values
Work on these areas has been conducted by the Forest Values staff
(all three of us) in conjunction with several private consultants
and collaborative research agreements.
Among the project areas of possible interest are the Quantification
of Residual Values, Moose, Deer and Parks Travel Cost Analysis,
Regional Economic Impact Model, and the Socio-Economic Impact
Model.
In addition, we have released the following documents, which may be
