     A team of faculty and student researchers at the Institute
for Conflict Analysis and Resolution at George Mason University
in Fairfax, Virginia is interested in learning more about the
Northern Forest Lands Council.

Our goals are to:
1) understand the processes of public involvement in forest
planning in the New England region, and
2) compare those processes with other processes around the world.

We would appreciate hearing from those who:
1) participated in the process,
2) have shared public comments on the process, or
3) have insights into and opinions about the work of the Council.

We are also interested in hearing from people regarding their
plans for following up on the recommendations of the Council once
the report is formally accepted.
